Google Dorking 4 Kiddie Porn

February 11, 2008

When you Google Dork for porn, you can never be quite sure of the result you will get and not all Google based searches are created equal.  Now while Google dorking for kiddie porn sites with one search I did hit the mother load of hundreds of sites where every page of 10 results had a warning at the bottom of the page that some pages had been removed because of kiddie porn complaints.  When I clicked on the complete URL, most pages came up dead ends or redirected to advertising content.  However, when I just put the main domain name in the URL locator, many of the sites showed suspiciously young girls with a disclaimer they were all 18 and many had a ucj cookie the sames as other “go to jail” type sites. Usually, a page would yield three  domains suspected of hosting Kiddie Porn.

I thought that the search was;

site:*/cgi-bin/ucj/

Now the reason I couldn’t initially repeat the experiment was because when I went back I tried to play it safe. I went to scroogle.org and did my annomyuous surfing only to turn up a list of crap domains which took you to them phony advertising dumps. Next, I used Firefox and killed all cookies only to get the same list of crap.

I tried Lynx on a live cd and got a very evil list but I was forced to yield to cookies to get in.  Well, once your screwed, you may as well go all the way.  When, I allowed cookies in the machine, bam I was back to the Mother of all Kiddie Porn Portals – straight from the fine folks at Google.

The only problem is they will have this search and my cookies on file until 2038 when it finally expires.

You know you can trust Google to give you any result you want.  You just can’t do it annomyously.

Beyond Google – Viral Traffic

February 6, 2008

If your discussing matters which are touchy to our government, you really have to expect their best effort at suppressing the information. It’s no secret that Google is cooperating with China in suppressing knowledge on a broad range of topics. It’s also obvious that as a socially responsible corporation, they probably hide or fail to list content on a broad range of topics. When they fail to list a site page, they sometimes let you know that the supporting documentation is at chillingeffects.org but only when the content is totally illegal.

For legal but sensitive material, they don’t really acknowledge content filtering but when caught, just release a statement about unintended errors which led to technical difficulties and an inability to find a specific YouTube movie etc. In our particular case, serious content filtering started at my Fatsavage blog with a condemnation of a known kiddie porn site, youngerbabes.com, which is still online. The technical proof of content filtering is offered on this blog.

Of course the immediate effect of content filtering is that your traffic gets slammed and you lose visitors, but there is an obvious solution, just keep on writing. My traffic at fatsavage has started rising again, and the site is ranked in the top million of 20 million sites monitored by quantcast.com. Yeah, I get more traffic if I avoid censored topics, but I’m not a singing caged bird.

Interestingly, my new exulted status is almost independent of Google referrals (Correlation Coefficient 33%) and much more dependent on loyal visitors.

This post is being published at both Fatsavge and Tigerstail Blogs, not because I’m lazy, but because I want the information to get out. If Google were bothering to feed my blog, this would almost certainly get this post de-listed for laziness or plagiarism. However, since they are no longer doing a great job for my traffic, it doesn’t matter which rules I break.

Google Content Filtering is Specific!

February 1, 2008

You might expect that a search engine developed by a brilliant guy (Sergi Brin) attending a fantastic school (Stanford) would be cerebral and that is the case. College professors who study such things say the top 5 posts on any search term at Google are far superior in content, spelling and grammar than the bottom and that fresh verbal content gives a higher rating than superior graphics.

With this in mind, it’s easy to see how the Fatsavage blog makes it up to the top ten when discussing kiddie porn. After all, there is very little poetic prose or any kind of prose at all. The vocabulary is quite restricted and in the range that a chimpanzee could learn. Youngerbabes.com has about 250 unique words on the home page and a well educated chimp can have a vocabulary between 250 and 500 words.

Still, this is a site which is in the top 4300 in the world and about the same as thehun.net (3900) or elephantlist.com (3200) which are clearly legal porn portals. Putting this popularity into numbers, one million people a month visit this site and about 4000 are addicted enough to visit daily. (Don’t worry, I’m sure there all being observed and will get a visit from the man in the near future.) Joking aside, that happens to be about the number of child pornography cases tried each year, so you do know where they find them.

Thus, it’s easy to conceive that a highly negative post about youngerbabes.com gets about about 1000 hits in the two days after posting before it is filtered out of existence and never gets more than one or two a day after that. My two favorite and very popular rants which got virtually no traffic after the first three days are:

Youngerbabes Suck Bad

Youngerbabes, A curse on everyone Involved!

Of course, linking to them will relegate this post to Search Siberia, despite the interest in the subject. Seems to me if the Government and Google really wanted to restrict access to illegal kiddie porn, there would be a bigger effort to get out the word on youngerbabes.com

On the other hand, if this is a government Honeypot tracking domestic and foreign nationals, then there would be a very focused effort to filter out negative comments which warn people off.

Well, it’s your life so you can decide.
